Cultivate are pleased to offer several ways to earn a Permaculture Design Certificate ('PDC') while enjoying and experiencing the ecovillage in Cloughjordan.

If time is tight, join us for a weekend course. The next offering is the Permaculture Design FETAC course held over three weekends: 10-11 and 24-25 May and 7-8 June 2014. If you continue onto the Applied Permaculture course, to be held in the Autumn, the combo leads to a globally recognised (UK Permaculture Association) PDC.

Or, earn your PDC during our intensive 10-day residential course held from 8 to 17 August 2014. Join Graham Bell (author of The Permaculture Garden and The Permaculture Way), Mark Boyle (aka 'The Moneyless Man' - to be confirmed) and the ecovillage's resident experts of permaculture, gardening, farming, perma-facture and green building for this unique (yearly) opportunity to learn invaluable design and practical skills.

The Better Building Conference - 9 April 2014

The next Better Building, Ireland's largest property and construction conference, will be held on Wednesday 9 April 2014 in Croke Park, in association with Ecocem, the low carbon cement provider. Check out the programme and speaker lineup.

Study Tours - 10 April 2014

Better Building is offering Study Tours on Thursday 10 April 2014 (the day after the conference) to allow you to explore green building in Ireland in depth.

The two tours are both to the Ecovillage in Cloughjordan, Co Tipperary: 1) Sustainable Building in the Context of the Ecovillage, and 2) FabLabs: Impact on the Future of Design and Construction.

Lunch and all transportation costs are included in the study tour prices (€90 if you Book Now), so participants need only arrive on time at the designated meeting point in Dublin City Centre.
