Welcome to our new look news and a summer of growing!
There's so much to choose from this summer to enhance your skills in growing your own.
Many people receiving this newsletter may not need to ask why someone would want to learn how to garden. But for those who do: When you learn about horticulture and growing, you are developing a new skill that you can use for years to come, you are getting outside and learning about science and botany, and you are working your way toward years of harvest, both in food but also achievement (great to share with your children, your family, your neighbours, and your whole community)! When you think of plants as part of a whole system within Nature that starts in the soil and includes the water supply, people, wildlife and even insects, you are then starting to see with Permaculture design principles in mind, invaluable to almost any aspect of our lives, our buildings, land planning, gardens and much more.
Need some space to work at a very affordable price and without the hassle of a full-time office? IGBC are now running the co-working space at 63 Lower Mount St in Dublin. Be in touch with them to organise a viewing.
